Comments

Immigration will be the most urgent issue in the future. America has worked so well because it did not have large blocks of divided ethnic groups. We need to focus on making sure our country's immigration policies ensure that our melting pot remains a blended stew and not blocks people of such different cultures they cannot forge a common government that works for all.

When I look at the fast disappearing farm land, I think it is past time our country placed a moratorium on immigration until we can figure out what level of immigration is sustainable in maintaining a quality of life that many, many rural Americans value.
