Dingell Forever

posted by Alan Greenblatt

DingellThere's no state or local angle to this, but I thought it was worth nothing that Congressman John Dingell, a Michigan Democrat, filed today to run for his 28th term. Dingell has served in Congress since 1955 and is set to break the House record for longevity early next year.

His dad, John Sr. had represented the district before him for 22 years -- meaning father and son have held the same seat since 1933.

And they worry about Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton.
